Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ape Alert ("the app", "we", "our"), an ADHD reminder application available on the Apple App Store. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

You must create an account with a valid email address and verify it before using the app. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Ape Alert.

2. Phone Number & Consent to Calls and Messages

By entering your phone number in the app, you consent to receive:

Phone calls at the times you schedule for your reminders.
SMS text messages for reminder notifications you create.

You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on how many reminders you schedule. Calls and SMS are placed from +1 (844) 614-1092.

3. Tokens & Purchases

Ape Alert uses a token system. Each phone call or SMS reminder costs 1 token.
New accounts receive 3 free tokens.
Additional tokens can be purchased via Apple In-App Purchase.
Tokens are non-refundable except as required by Apple's refund policies.
Tokens do not expire as long as your account is active.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app to harass, spam, or send unsolicited messages to others.
Enter phone numbers that do not belong to you.
Attempt to circumvent the token system or exploit the service.
Use the app for any illegal purpose.

5. Service Availability

We strive to deliver reminder calls and SMS reliably, but we do not guarantee delivery. Calls and messages may fail due to carrier issues, network conditions, Do Not Disturb settings, or other factors outside our control. Ape Alert is not intended for emergency, medical, or life-safety reminders.

6. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or use your phone number for marketing.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Account tab in the app. Deletion permanently removes all your data, including reminders and purchase history. Unused tokens are forfeited upon deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ape Alert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed reminders, undelivered calls or messages, or any damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for tokens in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
